Who I am
Stein Hanssen Sæstad
I am the MDMS Admin and BI Analyst at NAVTOR, where I run our Master Data Management setup in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. I support users across departments, configure and optimize the system alongside our ERP partner, and build Power BI reports.
Before NAVTOR I worked as a Business Consultant at UtilityCloud, focused on onboarding, operations, and process improvement for the billing team. I started my career as a Junior Software Developer and Technical Support engineer at a small software company, where I got to wear many hats and learn the value of good data and clear documentation early on.
Good data beats clever dashboards. Most reporting problems trace back to master data, so that is where I like to start. I also enjoy writing up what I learn along the way, which is why Daxly.io exists.
